Non-Violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (MANDT)


Description
The participants will be certified in non-violent crisis intervention training through the MANDT system. The training will focus on a non-aversive behavioural support program designed to de-escalate potentially negative situations, manage crisis and prevent injury. There is an online pre-course that must be completed before attending the in-class portion.

The online pre-course takes between 6-8 hours to complete.

Open Course: This course is open to all agencies please contact support@mindwellrxacademy.com for booking.

Please download and complete the Study Guide. It is located in the files section of the course. It is required to be brought when you attend the in-class course.

Recertifying: If you have completed the online pre-course and attended in-class before; when you're recertifying, you just have to bring your completed study guide with you to the in-class session. You don't have to re-do the online pre-course. Please review the completed study guide before attending.

Official Certificate: Once your official certificate is processed, an electronic copy will be added to the "files" section of your online profile that you, and any branch supervisors, can review and download.
